They are living with Charlotte&#8217;s brother, August, who owns the land. I&#8217;m not sure when he came over from Pommerania or if he was here already. That may be why Johann and his family emigrated to this area.<\/p>\n<p>Johann, now listed as John mostly from this point forward, is listed as being a &#8220;farm laborer&#8221; probably working on August&#8217;s farm.
