- 1792, 25 Apr. - Michael Hahn, along with Martin Burkhardt and Michael Lutz were viewing some lots at "Blue Bank" not far from the station, and were attacked by Indians. All subsequently lost their lives. Described as "large, heavy Pennsylvanian Dutchman". Lut was scalped; Hahn was wounded but ran to within view of the station where the Indians finished him off, but did not get his scalp. Burkhardt, shot through right shoulder, escaped to the river but drowned and his body was found 6 weeks later at North Bend.
