He was one of eight first student from the small seminary of Quebec on 8 October 1668.
He is a student at Grand Seminar on 8 December 1677. He was ordained priest on 21 December 1680 in Quebec by Bishop Francois de Laval.
He is a priest on the south shore of Quebec (to Cap-Saint-Ignace) and on the north shore of Grondines to Batascan in 1683.
He was appointed canon of the chapter of Quebec on 8 November 1684. It is cure of Cap-de-la-Madeleine in 1692.
He directs the construction of the church of Trois-Rivieres, now a place of pilgrimage in 1717.
There are buried on 7 March 1729 in the sanctuary of the Church, Cap de la Madeleine and was exhumed in 1895 and his body was perfectly preserved.
