New Paint

I decided that a new theme was needed. The previous one was nice, but it has been falling behind in some things. The web moves fast. This one gives me more control over certain things and it listed to have been tested and working in the most common browsers (sadly, even IE6, which I wish would die already.) I’ll probably be making some minor changes and tweaks in the next few days, but I’m pretty happy with it already. It’s slick, simple, and it looks nice without taking you away from the content, which is king.

About Brian Zalewski

I started genealogy research about mid-1999. My grandfather had passed away in April of that year. Since then I’ve done a lot of research not only for myself, but for friends and other relatives. In 2006, I married the love of my life, Darcy, and welcomed the birth of our daughter, Aerissa Jean, in 2010. I can’t wait to tell her stories about all of her ancestors.

Nice redesign! I just did one myself too. I like the changes you’ve made. Your last design never displayed properly for me in Google Chrome :-)taneya

Haha, don’t feel like that. I quickly get bored of my designs (which is good and bad) so I like to freshen it up a lot. Plus, the old theme was missing a few of the new additions that WordPress has implemented and the fact that this one should work in all major browsers.brianjz
