My father Leo was Joe's first cousin. My Grandfather and Joes fater were brothers from what info I have and can remember. We visited Stria when he was alive and lived on Booth Street. I can remember visiting Joe when he lived on Richard Street Robert and I are the same age I was born 07 32 31 I can remember Emily and their daughter Irene Leon Joe is my second cousin. Most veterans turned in their discharge papers to the county clerk and these records are often kept in the archives. Also check with that county's genealogical and/or historical society to see if there are archived newspaper articles about the local boys "over there." County history books may also list those who served in WW1 and what units they served in. Brian, check with the county clerk in the county where your believe your great-grandfather lived after WW1.
